JASON PEACOCK JASON PEACOCK AUDIO POST PRODUCTION

Jason is a London based Sound Designer and Re-Recording Mixer.

Coming from a musical background Jason started working with sound while playing guitar in bands as a teen. Recording music and posting it online soon led to writing music for short films. Editing music to picture is where he first saw the effect sound could have in film, the way it could influence feel and be used to tell a story. Later going on to study Music Technology at Thames Valley University, the inspiration to pursue sound design for picture took hold while reproducing the sound for the opening sequence of There Will Be Blood for a project. Filling his home studio with gravel and props for the foley record he fell down the imaginary mine shaft and wanted more.

Starting work at a 24/7 Post Production company in Soho, Jason learned the workflow of how Television is made. From the rushes coming in, to offline & online editing, to colour grading and of course sound. Later transitioning to an upcoming Music and Audio Post Production studio in Soho Jason started working in sound professionally and was soon working as a Re-Recording Mixer for clients such as Coca Cola, Peroni, Nissan, HP, Reebok, Bacardi, Rudimental, Goldfrapp, TBWA and Saatchi & Saatchi, mixing spots for broadcast, online, cinema and radio.

While working alongside the musical arm of the company he gained further experience working with music, assisting clients in selecting and editing music for picture and taking part in recording sessions at the world famous Abbey Road and RAK studios for projects ranging from Eurovision Song Contest entries to film soundtracks.

After developing his skills and putting a studio together, Jason began taking on projects independently. Since then he has worked on award winning films, collaborated with the Oscar winning sound team of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings Trilogies and provided Audio Post Production for Music Videos, Commercials, Feature Films, Series, Radio, Applications and Broadcast for clients such as Zayn Malik, Indochine, Jonas Blue, John Grant, Mollie King, Toyota, Nike, New Balance, Unicef, Samsung, FedEx, Havana Club, Head & Shoulders, Vanity Fair, Huawei, Budvar, Ballantines, Absolut, Epson, Honda and Greenpeace.

Examples of his work have been viewed more than 600 million times online.
